It was a beautiful day and a little bit windy. I set out to get pictures taken for the Pries girls.
I love how blue the water looked, it helped bring out the blue in her eyes.
It was a lot of fun on the shoot. The girls were a little shy but they enjoyed having their pictures taken.
It was Earth Day and the Geest Family and I took advantage of the free admission to take some pictures at the Botanical Center in Des Moines.
Every shoot has its own challenge. This time, because of the free admission, there were lots of people around, and the challenge is to get a good angle while avoiding getting other people in the shot.
It was tiring but enjoyable "playing"with the kids. I think photo taking can sometimes be stressful to kids, so I usually like to play and run around with them. Preschool aged kids are best photographed when they are at play. Thanks to the Geest family for a fun evening!
